(This is a direct sequel to my other fight "Eye of the Dragon". You don't need to read that to understand this, but it does add to the "continuity" feel.)

Skull Island

"So... Tell me why we're here again?"

In the vast uncharted island of Skull Island, two particular hunters are riding a ship and are currently in search for something. In their small ship are two hunters. The first one is a large, burly man with a huge scar across his left eye. His hair was short but wild, and is colored maroon. His armor, although rugged and worn, is made of large dragon scales and thick metal, along with some durable leather to give ease of movement. On his back was a giant weapon shaped like an axe and sword meshed together.

"We're here because we need to find a specific Deviljho," The other person on the ship said. Said person was a slender lady with silver eyes and raven black hair. She wore a light leather breastplate reinforced with some monster scales, and also wore gauntlets and shin guards of the same material. Her weapon of choice was a crossbow that was attached to her back.

"Yeah, I get that part!" The burly maroon haired man exclaimed. He then knitted his eyebrows in concentration. "What I don't get is that why do we have to go this island? We don't know what's out here; we could get killed immediately!" The raven haired lady just sighed in annoyance.

"Garmond, please shut up for once. I know you're scared, but that doesn't give you the authority to rant all the time. It's annoying," The black haired lady replied to Garmond. The larger man felt offended a bit, and decided to give his friend a piece of his mind.

"Who said I was scared, Agatha? I'm just worried about what we could find here or something!" Garmond exasperated, but Agatha paid him no mind and continued to navigate the island's waters.

"Hmm... That's strange. I think I feel something..." As soon as Agatha said that, small tremors shake the island. Immediately, Garmond went to the ship's cannon and aimed at whatever was there. What he saw was a massive, tyrannosaurus-like monster. Its brown skin was somehow glowing with a golden aura, indicating a special variant. It was mostly similar to the prehistoric king of dinosaurs, but its jaws were more like maces, and were rounded and littered with spikes. It supported its massive head weight with an equally massive tail, which was long and thick.

It was the Deviljho.

"Oh no, it's here already!?" Garmond yells in disbelief. "And why is it different from normal?" Despite the fact that the two were in grave danger, Agatha smirked. From her pocket, she picked up a strange red and white ball with what seems to be a button in the middle. Garmond decided to start shooting the monster, knowing that it already saw them anyways.

"That is a Starving Deviljho. They're like Savage Deviljhos, but have a distinctive yellow glow to them. And judging from its size... It must be a World Eater class," Agatha answered calmly. Garmond didn't really have time to reply as he tried to gun down the enormous beast. The massive tyrannosaur easily tanked the shots and chased after their ship.

"Hurry up and DRIVE!!!" Garmond finally yelled. Agatha cranked up the speed of their ship, and the chase was on.

"Okay, do you have any plans on how to capture this beast in the first place!?" Garmond yelled his question, since the cannon fire and sheer speed of the ship almost drowned out his voice. Agatha just pushed him into the driver's seat and began fiddling with the cannon.

"Hey! I was askin' ya a damn QUESTION!!" Garmond yelled, but drove the ship anyways. After Agatha was done meddling with the cannon, she then faced him.

"Listen, Garmond. I found these strange balls appear out of nowhere from a strange circular doorway. I decided to take them and tried them out," Agatha starts. She then grips another one of those red and white balls. "This weird ball can seemingly capture monsters of any size, as I tried it on a Rathalos and a Ceadeus." Garmond eyes the ball with curiosity, and stares at her with an unamused face.

"How the hell can a Rathalos, or hell even a freakin' Ceadeus, fit in that tiny ball?" Agatha smirked yet again, and then loaded the cannon with the same ball she was gripping. She fired it towards the Deviljho, who was still chasing them.

A flash of red temporarily blinded the Deviljho and it stopped for a bit. And then, a wounded Rathalos appeared seemingly from thin air.

"What the hell!? You were bein' serious!?" Garmond could only look at the Rathalos in disbelief, who was now preparing to engage the Deviljho in combat. Both monsters roared, and then charged at each other.

"Alright, now that you now we have to get away for now. When the Deviljho is weakened I can then catch it with these balls," Agatha explained. Garmond looks at the balls with awe, before driving away from the ensuing battle as the roars of the two monster slowly fade into inaudibility.

"Still, a circular pathway filled with spiral that connects to nothing? The hell's that?"

--

"Alright now what? There seems to be a huge spiky wall blocking us off!" Garmond yelled, glaring at the intricately made wall. Agatha looks around, and then points to the land.

"Let's just wait for the Deviljho there. It should be weakened after fighting that-"

A loud crash interrupts the two, and the water ripples violently. The two slowly turn around, and saw that the Deviljho has a familiar wing in its jaws. Despite putting up its best effort, The Rathalos couldn't even stall time for the two hunters and didn't even scratch the Deviljho.

And with its voracious appetite, it wants to eat the hunters next.

"Oh no... It's going to kill us!" Garmond said in fear, gripping his axe-sword shakily.

The Deviljho roared, and then went for the kill. Garmond cursed, while Agatha made a desperate attempt to fight back by readying her crossbow.

... But before it could even clamp its vast jaws on the ship, a boulder hits the tyrannosaur right face. It didn't get hurt, but the Deviljho did stop attempting to eat the ship and looked at what could have possibly thrown that boulder on his face. The "thing" in question had dark-grey skin covered with pitch-black fur. It was standing on two legs and looked like a giant gorilla. Its arms and legs were immensely muscled and it also had a lot of scars; most likely from past fights. Their stone-cold scowl indicative of how it was feeling right now.

Toho Kong Render by ApexUtopia

It was none other than the king of Skull Island himself, King Kong.

The primate king had been searching the entire island for this intruder, and he has finally found him. For Kong, this wouldn't do. After all, he was the protector of this island, and whether it was V-rexes or Skullcrawlers, he wasn't going to let anything ruin the island.

"What the hell!? Is that a new, undiscovered Variant of a Rajang!?" Garmond asked with a loud tone, since he was still shaken up from all the monsters. "It's taller than the Deviljho, but the Deviljho is still longer than it!" Agatha however, was smiling.

"Perfect. I knew that there were other monsters in this distant island. Looks like we'll see who'll win, and then capture the winner to kill that darn white dragon."

King Kong has already met humans before, so he didn't wish to harm them. However, the drooling Deviljho right in front of him was a different story. Beating his chest, the Eighth Wonder of the World roared at his saurian opponent. The Deviljho roared back, just wanting to eat this primate. Kong glares at his opponent, and leaps towards the Deviljho, using his arm as leverage.

Only one will live, and become the true King of the Primal Beasts.

FIGHT! Kong VS Deviljho by ApexUtopia

Kong struck first, hammering down the Deviljho's face with his two arms. Then, he delivered an uppercut to the jaw of the Deviljho, stunning him a bit. However, the Deviljho recovered fast and ducked as it dodged Kong's next punch. The devil dinosaur then tackled the great ape and sent him hurtling through dozens of trees. The Deviljho then followed the primate through the jungle as he ignored the two hunters' ship, causing huge splashes due to its enormous weight.

The primate stood up and picked up a boulder. Once the Deviljho came within eye's reach of the ape, he smashed his head using the boulder. The tyrannosaur didn't even flinch to this and went for a huge bite. Kong evaded at the last second and countered with a strong kick to the face, knocking back the frenzied beast a few meters backwards.

Undeterred, the Great Devourer then swung its tail in a 180 degree arc, slamming it into Kong with full force. The sheer impact caused powerful winds to knock down entire trees and even boulders, and even toppled the King of Skull Island himself. Then, the dinosaur drove its foot on the giant ape, pinning him down.

Just as the dangling mouth of the Deviljho was about to tear open Kong's head like tin can, the great primate acted quick and smashed his two fists on each side of the Deviljho's face, attempting to crush it. While the dinosaur's skull proved too durable, this caused the theropod to flail around in pain, growling in annoyance.

Now freed from the beast's foot, Kong stood up on his two legs and then grabbed the Deviljho's back. While still distracted, Kong bit down on his saurian opponent's scales, puncturing them. His sharp canine managed to draw black blood from the Deviljho, eliciting another cry of pain from the tyrannosaur.

Infuriated with its opponent, the Deviljho tackled Kong away from his body, but the ape landed perfectly on the ground. He then grabs various trees and starts swinging around to confuse his foe. However, the demonic dinosaur simply reacted to him and easily caught the swinging ape by biting him in his right arm with his enormous jaws. Kong panicked and punched the theropod's face with his right arm multiple times, but each time the primate punched the tyrannosaur, the Deviljho strengthened his bite.

Enraged at the ravenous reptile, the primate king then mustered a whole lot of his strength into his right arm and then forcefully pried open his opponent's jaws. He succeeded, but this just made the tyrannosaur even more hungry for the ape, now that he has managed to catch a bite of his simian foe. Kong looks at his bite wound with curiosity, noticing that his fur in that area has softened somewhat.

Biting the ground, the Deviljho pushed the ground and tossed boulders at King Kong. Due to his incredible reflexes and speed, Kong avoided the attack and leapt up. He landed behind the Deviljho and then grabbed his tail as if his life depended on it. With his amazing strength, the great ape swung the Deviljho around and around.

After a couple of spins, the great ape finally released his grip on the tail of the Deviljho and the dinosaur was sent soaring through the air. However, Kong sprinted towards to where Deviljho was about to crash to in mere seconds and prepared to strike his foe.

When the golden Deviljho was mere inches near Kong, he struck the dinosaur with an immensely powerful left hook, driving the devilish dinosaur straight into the ground as a large crater was formed due to the impact. Kong breathed in and out, then walked towards the crater.

In mere milliseconds, Kong's muscles tense all over as he barely dodged the vast jaws of the Deviljho. Jumping out of the crater, the Deviljho stomps the ground multiple times, and then roars. Kong responded by beating his chest and roaring. However, giants streams of dragon element flames suddenly burst out of the ground, enveloping the great ape. The Deviljho then seized the chance and went straight for his primate foe's jugular. However, Kong jumps out of the way, then grabbed a tree.

The Deviljho charged yet again, intent on biting his opponent's face off. Kong countered by smashing the tree directly on the face of the Deviljho, steering him off course as he crashed onto the cliffside. Kong then grabbed the back of the Deviljho's head and smashed it further into the cliff, causing a landslide to engulf the dinosaur. Still being alert, Kong glared at the wreckage to make sure that the Deviljho stayed dead.

Sure enough, the tyrannosaurus-like monster easily ripped through the rubble as if it were made of styrofoam.

Deviljho ran towards Kong with great speed, delivering a massive tackle. However, Kong manages to somehow stop the tackle by grabbing his opponent and then slamming his back with his powerful arms. Growling in pain, the Deviljho retaliates with by slamming Kong with his thick tail, tripping him up.

The Deviljho attempted to pin down Kong again, but Kong rolled away from harm and stood up almost immediately. Aiming for the soft flank of the tyrannosaur, Kong bit down on the Deviljho's rib with a lot of force. He managed to draw more blood from his opponent, but instead of faltering the nomadic super predator used his head a battering ram, knocking back Kong quite a few meters back.

Having resisted hits from immensely powerful monsters before, Kong straight up tanked the hit without any problem and then leapt on top of the Deviljho and wrestled him. He had held the massive dinosaur in a headlock, trying to choke the dinosaur to death with his powerful arms. The Great Devourer decided it didn't like this position and pushed Kong into the cliff, ramming him again and again until the devil dinosaur could feel the powerful ape's grip loosen.

Once his grip was loose enough, he used his small but muscular arms to push down Kong. Now lying down on the ground, the Deviljho attempted to slash his chest with his powerful legs and claws. The great ape howls in agony as red blood gushes from the wound. Drooling even more, the acidic saliva of the Deviljho dripped onto the open wound of Kong, causing even more pain in the process.

The nomadic dinosaur then prepared to bite off Kong's head, but Kong immediately struck his jaws, forcing it shut. He then wrestled the dinosaur again and  eventually tossed him away from him.

Standing up almost immediately, both tyrannosaur and primate glare at each other. Kong was standing with his two legs, his arms ready to swing when the Deviljho would dare to come closer. On the other hand, the Deviljho was still drooling as he really wanted to eat this ape.

Then, the two charged at each other, their massive bodies slamming each other and creating a large shockwave due to the force of the impact. Kong used his left hand to keep the Deviljho's jaw closed while he used his other hand to try and push away Deviljho. On the other hand, Deviljho was focusing his entire weight on the ape, hoping to overpower the King of Skull Island. The two shoved each other like gigantic, kaiju-sized sumo wrestlers.

Eventually, Kong used his superior strength to lift the dinosaur and pinned him down on the ground. Try as the Deviljho might, but he couldn't escape the primate's powerful grip.

Kong wanted to finish the fight as soon possible. He grabbed the massive tyrannosaur's jaws and slowly but surely pried it open, intent in crushing his jaws.

... Until the Deviljho had enough.

Without having any time to react, immense, reddish black flames from the hellish dinosaur's maw surrounded Kong in a conflagration of dragon element. Flailing wildly, Kong tried to remove the burning sensation, and eventually dipped into the river. This made Kong even more pissed off, and he glared directly at the Deviljho, who was growling at him in challenge. Noticing that his opponent has a breath attack, Kong decided to use a trick of his own.

Running on all fours, the primate king rushed head on and smacked Deviljho straight on his face. This time however, the Deviljho actually felt a great deal of pain and fell to the ground.

When the monstrous dinosaur looked at his opponent, he noticed that Kong was crackling with electrical energy. Kong took note that the Deviljho seemed to be more affected by electricity than his regular attacks, and decided to continue pummeling his foe.

Having dealt with this kind of foe before, the Deviljho bit down on Kong's arm as he was punching, and pulled hard on it. Kong roared in pain, and charged a great amount of electricity on his forehead. Then, he delivered a powerful headbutt on the Deviljho, stunning him.

This gave Kong the chance to remove his arm from the jaws of the demonic beast and then gave another electrified punch at him. The Deviljho was now being overwhelmed, and decided to create another shockwave of dragon element energy.

However, Kong was no ordinary ape. He was incredibly clever. The primate king avoided the blast of energy emitted from the dinosaur, and then grabbed a massive tree. He then used it like a baseball bat, and sent the Deviljho crashing into the river. Then, Kong used his electric powers and electrified the lake, causing the Deviljho to receive huge damage due to the water being a great conductor.

For a while, the Deviljho didn't move. Kong was happy, and roared at his seemingly fallen opponent. Just as he turned away, something happened to the Deviljho. It was... transforming into something much, MUCH more powerful...

(Try to stop the song at 0:28)

Kong looked back in horror as fiery, reddish-black energy was surging throughout the neck and shoulders of the Deviljho, giving it a lion-like "mane". Its veins were now crimson red in color, and the battle scars from its previous fights were now visible. Smoke was seemingly emanating from it, as the Deviljho's power and savagery has increased beyond measure. Dragon element energy flowed from nearly every scale of the massive dinosaur, causing a few birds to fly away out of fear. Its mere presense brought huge flames and energy levels far beyond the normal Deviljho.

The Deviljho has gone Savage.

Meanwhile...

Agatha and Garmond were rushing to find the two battling beasts, intent in catching them.

"That monkey was HUGE I tell you! Much, MUCH bigger than even the biggest Rajang!" Garmond exclaimed. Agatha nodded in response.

"We need to catch at least one of those creatures. So we can finally kill that damn white dragon..."

The two hunters brave through the harsh island, killing many giants spiders and strange beasts. Using her crossbow, she sniped a large dragonfly on its head, killing it instantly. Garmond cleaved through a giant scorpion, cutting it fully in half.

As they near the dense jungle, Agatha immediately noticed a large shadow cast over them. Both Garmond and Agatha huddle close to each other, ready to fight for their lives.

Slowly but surely, the massive footsteps shake the area. A low, guttural growl could be heard, and the thing revealed itself.

It was a large, almost reptilian creature with only two long arms and having no legs, as well as long, prehensile, serpentine tail. It was long and slender, yet muscular, sturdy bodies. Several aspects of the monster's ghastly appearance are noticeably skeletal, particularly its torso and head. And it had scales of pale black all over, covering all of its body except for its face which was as white as bone.

This was just one of the many creatures called a "Skullcrawler".

It towered over the two hunters, and the creature was around the size of a fully grown Tyrannosaurus rex. Smaller than Kong and the World Eater Deviljho, but definitely just as nasty.

"Alright, guess it's time to kill this son of a bitch!!" Garmond yelled, and then took on the Skullcrawler head on while Agatha went back to provide rear support.

"Something's not right. I have never seen these creatures before in the three days we've spent here. Did they appear when the Deviljho came, or when that ape did?" Agatha thought as she began to shower the Skullcrawler with dozens of arrows.

--

Now coated with powerful, reddish-black Dragon element flames, the Deviljho glares at Kong, and roars. Its insatiable hunger and rage allowed it to finally trigger its Savage Mode, and the ravenous demon didn't plan to leaving even a single piece of bone when he was through with this primate.

The King of Skull Island Island however took this as a challenge to his throne, and beat his chest. Then, massive eruptions of Dragon element energy burst from ground from each of the Deviljho's steps. If one were to personally see the Deviljho right now, it would look like a demon had just come out from Hell below.

Kong's response? He coated himself in massive amounts of electricity, knowing that his opponent was weak to it.

Both monsters walked towards each other, then further picked up the pace from a jog to a dash, until they were sprinting really fast; faster than what their size would portray. As they slammed their massive bodies against each other, a sudden burst of Dragon element fire and intense electricity destroyed everything within a one kilometer radius, melting the cliffs, disintegrating trees, and evaporating a part of the river. Any unfortunate avian that was near the blast radius were instantly annihilated.

Despite this immensely powerful explosion, the two hulking giants were still pushing each other in a contest of strength. Utilizing his long arms, Kong tried to hold the Deviljho into a headlock, but the tyrannosaur just flared up his Dragon element flames, burning his opponent's fur. Kong backed off for a bit and opted for a different approach.

Kong dashed behind the Deviljho and tried to blindside him. However, the Great Devourer was just too fast, and he bit the head of Kong as soon as he was within striking range.

The great ape thrashed around, and then forcefully pried open his opponent's mouth. This time though, instead of continuing to try and snap his jaw in half, by experience he knew full well to avoid the maw of the terrible lizard. As soon as he was freed from the grasp of the hellish mouth of Deviljho, Kong immediately bounded away as a large stream of Dragon energy was unleashed from the Devil's mouth.

While the Deviljho was still firing his stream of reddish-black flames, Kong enveloped his arms in a blitz of electrical energy and proceeded to slam the devilish T. rex with hundreds of rapid-fire fists, each and every one of them creating electrical sparks that shocked the Deviljho's body.

Oraoraoraoraora by ApexUtopia

Each punch was stronger than the last, yet the fighting style still remained relatively animalistic as the punches didn't target specific points of the Deviljho's body, but rather hitting everywhere like a raged berserker.

Kong then finished his vicious combo with a solid uppercut, and jumped high up into the air to further power up his punch. Then at the end of the punch, the great ape triggered an explosion of pure electrical energy, and he landed back down on the ground seamlessly. The Deviljho on the hand crashed down onto the ground.

The fearsome King of Skull Island glared at his opponent, as if daring him to get up and fight again. Unfortunately for the King, the tyrannical beast was still healthy and more than ready for another bout. This is when Kong decided to take things up a notch.

Charging up a bunch of electricity on his arms, Kong prepared for a long ranged attack. The Deviljho saw this, and breathed in.

Then, he unleashed a powerful wave of pure dragon energy. Just as the stream of flames were about to burn the ape however, Kong released his electric blast, causing another explosion as the two shielded their eyes from the brilliant burst of raw energy.

Smoke settled, and from the wreckage came the enraged Deviljho, who bit down on the ape's arm, and then he swung King Kong around and slammed him hard on the ground. He then pinned him down with his foot, but Kong held up his foot to stop the dinosaur.

With a mighty howl, Kong pushed his away and socked his face with an electrified fist. Despite being hit an electrically enhanced punch from King Kong, the Deviljho tried to resist to hit and slapped Kong with his tail. Then, he emitted another stream of Dragon element flames, but this time Kong used his agility to avoid the attack. He then pivoted to the dinosaur's left and slammed his face in with an electrified punch.

However, the Deviljho somehow seemed fine even after that powerful punch. The hungry monster then stomped on Kong, and then blasted him at point blank with a powerful Dragon Breath attack. Dazed from the immense damage, the hellish predator then slammed with his head and sent him flying several meters away.

Wanting to do a combo, the Deviljho then summoned an eruption of Dragon element energy just before Kong crashed, dealing great pain to the King of Skull Island. He lay on the ground exhausted and damaged. But the great ape's sheer tenacity and toughness enabled him to power through the pain and stood up again to face his demonic foe. The Deviljho simply snorted at his opponent, impatient with his prey and hefty meal.

Kong was wondering how the Deviljho could have possibly tanked his earlier electricity-laden punch. With his impressive simian brain, he deduced that the flames caused his electricity powers to weaken. If this was the case, then Kong had no choice but to finish the Deviljho off now.

The mighty king of Skull Island then rammed his opponent and pushed him, crashing into a lot of trees. The Deviljho tried to break free, gnawing and emitting giant flames all over his body to burn his foe alive. Despite all this, Kong continue crashing onto the trees, until they finally reach the edge of the cliff.

With his rage ever increasing, the Deviljho bit down on his simian foe's shoulder and blasted large amounts of Dragon energy, causing Kong to flail around wildly in pain. Then, the Deviljho lifted the primate and threw him deep into the valley below. Roaring in victory, the Deviljho rejoiced in his recent kill. But being a Deviljho, it went looking for food since the Rathalos was barely enough to fill the belly of the Great Devourer.

He would return to eat the giant ape, but he needed to find a way to get down there first.

Multiple lacerations and wounds covered the entirety of the Skullcrawler's body. Deep, lasting gashes that leaked blood all over were present, and the creature was already limping due to one of its arms been cut off by Garmond's axe-sword.

"That's all you've got? Even a Tigrex would easily destroy you," Agatha said mercilessly to the dying Skullcrawler, and finished it off by firing an arrow directly on its throat. This finally killed it, and it slumped on the ground in defeat. Garmond sighed in relief, and went near the corpse of the reptile. He inspected it for any potential "drops", but was disappointed that the Skullcrawler had nothing of the sort.

"This thing is a ripoff," Garmond exasperated, swinging his sword-axe upwards and resting it's midsection on his shoulder. "Doesn't even have any possible souvenirs I can give to my daughter." Agatha puts away her crossbow on her back and also inspects the corpse.

"Lass, yer' not going to find anythin' of worth there," Garmond said, crossing his arms in annoyance. Tha bandaged woman still continued her inspection anyways. Her eyes lit up as she realized something.

"Hmm... Garmond, we've never seen these creatures before in our three days here right?" Garmond nodded at her question. Standing up, Agatha dusted off her clothes and went west.

"H-hey! What's the big deal!?" Garmond yelled out at his partner and hurriedly went after Agatha, and they were both almost out of the jungle.

Skull Kong Graveyard by ApexUtopia

Shaking his headache off, Kong slowly gets up to his two feet. His insane durability enabled him to survive the fall without too much injury, but the acidic saliva has lowered the great ape's defense somewhat. This did not go unnoticed by the King, and walked away from his ancestor's graveyard and left to wash away the acid.

However, he immediately tensed his muscles. Somehow, the air felt different. He looked around, having sensed this familiar feeling before...

Then, he immediately swung his left arm backwards, instantly crushing all the bones of a Skullcrawler that tried to ambush him. It crashed on a Triceratops skull's horn, stabbing it and causing it to bleed to death.

But Kong was still alert. He knew that for every Skullcrawler, there would be more to come and get him. And he was right.

Five T. rex sized Skullcrawlers came running, trying to outflank Kong. The great ape merely crushed two of them with his mighty hands, and stomped on another one that tried to bite his leg. Then, the other two jumped and bit down on the King's shoulders, but he didn't really get hurt and just grabbed the two and slammed them together in a clap, causing both to explode into a shower of guts and blood.

Then, not just five, but TEN more of the Skullcrawlers appeared, each ready to take on the King. Kong just snarled at the smaller predators, and unleashed a torrent of electrical energy. All ten of the Skullcrawlers were incinerated due to the intensity of the burst of lightning. But even as he killed all ten of those, there were even more coming out like roaches.

While he can certainly kill them all, Kong decided to retreat for now and wash his wounds. He leaves the barren canyon in a hurry as the Skullcrawlers continue to chase him.

--

Back to the jungle area, the Deviljho was currently having a buffet. As more and more of the puny Skullcrawlers tried attacking him, he simply obliterated them with his teeth, tail and enormous body as they all dropped like slain birds falling from the sky. He ripped, thrashed, smashed and burned over fifty of these T. rex sized Skullcrawlers; all while his hunger never faded.

Another Skullcrawler tried to bite him, but the Deviljho simply smacked it aside with its tail. Then he pinned it down and started messily devouring the poor creature, with each bite causing the Skullcrawler to explode in blood and viscera. After that, three more Skullcrawlers tried biting on the back of the Deviljho, but the demonic dinosaur simply flared up and killed the Skullcrawlers on the spot with his powerful Dragon element flames.

After eating them all up, ten more of the white-skulled reptile charged at the Starving Deviljho. The hellish tyrant simply stomped the ground multiple times, causing massive bursts of Dragon energy to erupt, eradicating the smaller reptile.

And while the Deviljho was happily slaughtering all the Skullcrawlers that came his way, Agatha and Garmond were sneaking away from the sense, not wanting to be inside the carnage.

"Damn... Look at that thing go!" Garmond exclaimed, his face slightly pale with terror. "It's literally a massacre..." Agatha couldn't help but agree. They then turned left and ran away from the scene.

Eventually, the two reached into an old ruins of some sorts. They stared at the intricate writings in awe. Agatha walked around and tried to read these ancient texts, but she rubbed her head in annoyance as she couldn't tell what they were exactly.

"So... I think we just stumbled into some cool looking ruins!" Garmond yelled happily, but maybe a bit too loudly. Suddenly, a group of humans with yellowish runes painted on their faces and body appeared in front of them, with their spears at the ready.

Fullscreen capture 12292016 12516 PM.bmp by ApexUtopia

The two hunters instantly held their arms up, not wanting to fight against these strange warriors. Garmond, being the hammy hunter he is, decided to clear his throat and speak out first.

"Greetings! I am Garmond, a professional Monster Hunter! This is my partner, Agatha! Anyways, we don't wish any harm, and we would just like to find a way to escape this island!" Despite all of what he said, the warriors still kept their grip on the weapons steady.

"Hey Garmond, I don't think they understand English," Agatha quipped. Before anything else was about to happen, loud footsteps can be heard. Garmond slowly looked behind him, and saw a Skulcrawler ready to eat him.

"Whoa! They caught up to us!?"

As soon as the giant Skullcrawler walked in, the warriors immediately rushed in. However, Agatha stopped them, and then drew her crossbow.

"Alright, if we kill this thing, you'll let us in okay?"

--

More and more Skullcrawlers littered the ground, being half-eaten and crushed into unrecognizable corpses. The entire jungle was already blanketed in hellish black flames of pure Dragon element energy, and it started to look like the Deviljho had raised Hell itself on the island.

Despite all of the Skullcrawlers already killed and eaten, the Deviljho was STILL hungry. But then, he remembered the taste of Kong... Now, he really wanted to devour that ape whole! The beast from Hell roared, and then sprinted away to search for the monarch of the island.

Meanwhile, Kong had just finished washing away his wounds and eating a Mire Squid. Feeling recharged, the ape king then set his sights in killing the Deviljho, who was still on the island, without a doubt doing genocide on HIS island.

As the Deviljho neared the ancient ruins and the only human settlement in the entire island, he finally saw a familiar face. Kong was there, who had also walked around in search of the Deviljho. Almost instantly, Kong's signature stone-cold scowl was present, and he is DEFINITELY pissed.

Both monsters unleashed a blast of elements; one of electricity and one of Dragon flames. Another dazzling explosion, but this time Kong headed straight for the Deviljho and socked him straight in the face. Deviljho tanked the hit and tried to bite his opponent.

However, the primate king was smart and knew that the saliva from his jaws weakened his skin. So he pivoted to the left, evading those massive jaws, and then grappled the Deviljho. He then slammed into the ground, causing giant pieces of rock to eject due to the impact.

Then, Kong coated his hands in lightning and choked the Deviljho. But the fierce devil didn't back down, and kicked the kaiju-sized simian with his powerful feet, as the ape loosened his grip on the Deviljho. Then, the devil dinosaur tackled him with his full body weight, sending his careening into a ruined ship.

Satisfied, the Deviljho prepared another intense breath of his reddish-black flames. Kong tried to escape, but when he looked at the wrecked ship, he thought of a better plan. Grabbing another tree with his right hand, and holding the ship with his left hand, Kong suddenly looked like he was a knight, carrying both a sword and a shield.

Raising his left hand to cover his body with the ship, he sprinted towards Deviljho with a roar. Just as he did that, the mouth of the Great Devourer unleashed another stream of powerful flames.

Despite the enormous power of the Dragon Breath, Kong stood strong with his makeshift shield. The King of Skull Island stepped forward with all his might, his shield holding back the Dragon Breath.

As a testament to Kong's impressive strength and stamina, he kept on walking through it. The ship was almost completely destroyed, but he was nearing the Deviljho already.

Kong's slow steps slowly went from a jog, and then to a sprint, until King Kong was bounding with immense speed straight through the powerful blast of Dragon element energy.

Finally, he bashed the Deviljho's face in with the giant ship, destroying it. The Deviljho was stunned, but Kong wasn't done yet. Using the tree he held in his right hand, he shoved it down the throat of the demonic lizard monster, trying to choke him to death.

Kong chokes Big G with a F^CKIN TREE by ApexUtopia

The Deviljho thrashed around wildly, trying to claw and get away from Kong. Eventually, he decided to stomp the ground multiple times. The simian kaiju saw this and immediately backed away, knowing that it will summon more of those reddish-black flames.

Sure enough, more of the Dragon element flames exploded from underneath. But Deviljho kept on summoning the eruptions and shockwaves of Dragon energy, so Kong sidestepped and evaded them all to the best of his ability. Somehow though, Kong felt like he couldn't get get near the Deviljho without having to get burnt by his flames.

While the entire area was being flooded with powerful shockwaves of Dragon element flames, Deviljho fired his Dragon Breath again at the unsuspecting Kong. Without any room to dodge, the ape king was burnt severely, bearing the full brunt of the blast.

After that powerful attack, the king of primates was left stunned and dazed. This gave a perfect opportunity for the Deviljho to bite King Kong on his arm, and then tossed him around crazily. Then, the Deviljho threw away the ape a few meters, where the King of Skull Island panted heavily, trying to regain his strength.

Digging its claws on the ground, the massive theropod pounced on Kong, causing the massive primate to spit up blood due to the weight and force of the Deviljho's pounce damaging him greatly. And in point blank range, the Great Devourer opened up his mouth really wide and fired another Dragon Breath.

Now with Kong unconscious, the Deviljho roared in victory. But then, a figure bit into his back hard, and he shrugged them off. He eyes this new challenger, and snarled at it.

What he saw was a massive Skullcrawler, around the same size as he is. This was the new leader of the Skullcrawlers, and he was ready to take down the demonic tyrannosaur for revenge against his fallen comrades.

The giant Skullcrawler let out a bone-curdling screech, challenging the massive dinosaur.

However, the Deviljho just snorted at his new opponent, and readied itself to devour everything that opposes it.

"Wow..."

Agatha and Garmond were in awe of the immense hidden village. There were a lot of small huts and many people were walking around. Most of them eyed the two hunters with curiosity, but weren't really hostile. The village elder led them through the village, and eventually into a temple, where they saw multiple people bowing and dancing to a certain deity.

And Agatha was shocked to find the face of Kong, who was the ape they saw engaging against the Deviljho. Then she examined the old cave drawings and saw Kong fighting off multiple lizard-like creatures, which she thought that they looked similar to the Skullcrawlers.

"Huh. This place looks so ancient," Garmond said, also looking at the cave paintings.

"Wait, so Kong is the protector of this island? And if he dies, all those Skullcrawlers will rule this island and eat all of you!?" Agatha yelled, looking at the tribe people. They cocked their heads to the right, since none of them know English. The bandaged woman then brings her palm to her face.

"Right, you don't know what I'm talking about..." Agatha then waves the leader to follow her, and thankfully he at least knows what she wants. Agatha then placed her hand on Garmond's shoulder, and he blinked at her.

"Garmond. I need you to prepare evacuating all these people." Then, she threw one of her red and white capturing balls at him, and Garmond caught it. "Our ticket to leaving the island is in that thing, so don't lose it." And then Agatha went with the village chief to convince him to go along with the evacuation.

"Well now, I wonder what's inside this thing?" Garmond wondered as he walked towards then river nearby the village. But then suddenly, an earthquake shakes the island, causing him to trip. Then, he noticed the sky darkening, and big clouds forming above. And to make matters worse, he saw the Deviljho fighting off a large and burly Skullcrawler.

"Ah crap, first I see the Deviljho trying to kill something yet again and now it's gonna rain. Well, there is an intense storm covering the island, so I ain't surprised anymore," Garmond said to himself as he stands up again to prepare for the evacuation.

--

Even as the storm clouds cover the sky and drop heavy rain, the Deviljho continues to thrash around the giant Skullcrawler.

While certainly at a disadvantage, the lanky lizard kept on slamming the Deviljho with its powerful forelimbs, slashing at his face and whipping the hellish nomad with his tail.

The Deviljho summoned another stream of hellish Dragon energy, burning the Skullcrawler despite the heavy rain. However, the reptilian menace didn't falter and tried to bite off the Deviljho's face. The Brute Wyvern just smacked the Skullcrawler with his massive head, but the Skullcrawler tried its best to resist and continue pushing and slashing his opponent.

However, the Deviljho easily overpowered his foe and pinned him down.

The Skullcrawler tried to claw his opponent yet again, bite him and even smack him with his tail, but the Deviljho easily tanked the hits and took a big crunch out of his opponent's neck, sending blood spurting all over. The body twitched a bit, until finally falling completely limp.

Finally, the Deviljho can now eat something around its size. He clamped on the corpse's neck and dragged it away from the scene, unknowingly forgetting about the still unconscious Kong.

Utilizing its massive jaws, the Deviljho managed to devour the Skullcrawler completely. It roared in delight, and then walked away in order to find more prey. With Kong unconscious, this meant that the island was all his to feast on. But the demonic dinosaur was feeling thirsty, so he left towards a nearby river.

As soon as he tried drinking from the river, massive tentacles all latched onto the beast, trying to drag it down to a watery grave.

Deviljho simply burned the gigantic mollusk with its intense flames, and the grip of the squid started to loosen. Then, the giant dinosaur ripped apart the squid, tearing it with its massive jaws. Yet another feast for the unstoppable Deviljho.

Suddenly, he felt something tackle him. When he looked his right, another figure tackled his face from the left. Roaring, the Deviljho found out that he was surrounded by a large number of smaller Skullcrawlers, all ready to avenge their leader.

Four Skullcrawlers simultaneously take a leap at the Deviljho. With its surprisingly fast reflexes, the Great Devourer pummeled all the attacking Skullcrawlers with his massive tail, instantly crushing them. Afterwards, he lets loose an intense wave of Dragon element energy, utterly roasting three other Skullcrawlers. And finally, he pounced on the last one without letting the Skullcrawler react. Upon impact, the guts of the Skullcrawler were instantly turned into mush as soon as he landed on it.

Then, he saw a Sker Buffalo trying to run away from the carnage, but it was too slow for the pace of the mighty Deviljho. In one bite the poor animal was eaten alive. Yet the Deviljho was still hungry.

... It just remembered that Kong still hasn't been eaten yet. Now, it will completely devour that gorilla. But not before eating EVERYTHING in his path.

--

After the Deviljho has finished its buffet of the Skull Island denizens, it went back to the cliff hiding the village. There, it saw the downed Kong, still alive but really tired. Opening its vast mouth, it prepares to devour the ape, but then...

An arrow stabbed the backside of the Deviljho. While it barely even hurt, it was still enough for the giant nomadic super predator to notice the shot and glance at the one who shot it.

"Well hello there, you ravenous demon! Had fun eating nearly every single creature on the island?" Agatha taunted the beast, and prepared her crossbow again. She managed to shoot the face, but it still didn't hurt that much. It was about to attack the lone hunter, but it stopped upon hearing a loud, thundering crash. Agatha smirked at the beast, knowing that the protector of the island just needed a little spark.

"This island is filled with storms, surrounding the entire island. Since we're pretty close to the edge... Well, it's not like you can understand me, you vile creature." Garmond then came running back, his armor wet due to the heavy rain.

"Alright, I guess the final battle is near! So we'll capture the monster that wins, right?" Agatha nodded, and then looked at all the tribe people behind her.

"We somehow managed to get our thoughts across. Since this island is doomed to sink, might as well bring the god and it's worshippers to safety, right?" The burly man with a large scar across his face could only nod as the thunderclouds become much more powerful. Both Agatha and Garmond retreated to the safety of the village wall, but still remained close enough to watch the ensuing battle.

Snarling at sky, the Deviljho stomped ground. And then... a large lightning bolt struck King Kong, and electrified him. But instead of killing him... He opened his eyes. Suddenly, Kong felt much more powerful. As powerful as during the time he fought Godzilla all those years ago...

Kong stood up, which surprised the Deviljho. The mega primate scanned his now-glowing body, as his electrical power surged to greater heights. Then he glared at the Deviljho, who was the toughest T. rex like monster he has ever faced...

And became incredibly angry, as he was filled with rage enough to somehow bring the essence of Jason Jenkins, within him. He felt not just rage and power... But skills, similar to those of the aforementioned man.

Then his eyes became red with absolute fury, and his body and musculature increased in size as the lightning around him grew as intense as a million lightning storms condensed into one being.

This was Mega Kong.

The proud King of a vanishing island beat his chest and roared at his adversary. The now Starving Deviljho also roared back, ready to fight once more. Sparks and electricity overloaded within the body of Kong... And then he let it explode in a magnificent blast of pure electricity and intense lightning that created a massive crater. Even Agatha and the rest of the humans needed to shield their eyes from the immense power.

Now, the final battle for the island was truly upon them.

Kong charged first, and pulled back a heavily electric-laced fist. He then slammed it into the Deviljho's jaw, and the punch was so strong that the normally incredibly heavy tyrannosaur was sent flying towards a mountain.

Then Kong jumped and delivered a powerful kick that crashed onto the Deviljho and obliterated the entire mountain. With just a single kick.

The Deviljho fell back to the Earth on a daze, but got back right up. He then coated his entire mouth with Dragon element energy and rushed at the primate king. King instantly slammed his foe's mouth shut a powerful jab, and then he grappled the Deviljho into submission.

Roaring in agony, the Deviljho then unleashed a massive torrent of Dragon element energy yet again. But this didn't even flinch King Kong, and he continued to grip and lock the Deviljho with immense pressure.

... Until the spine of the Deviljho made an audible "crack" sound.

Writhing and roaring in even more pain, the Great Devourer made one last ditch effort to stop Kong. This, it fired out a stream of Dragon Breath, and then stomped the ground, creating a pillar of Dragon elemental energy that towered over Kong and reached high above into the sky.

The primate king finally let go of the Deviljho, but he wasn't done yet. He then grabbed the tail of the Deviljho, and pulled REALLY hard. It resulted in his tail getting ripped from his body, with hellish black blood spilling all over. Then, Kong delivered a powerful headbutt filled with lightning power, and stunned the massive theropod.

Growling in pain and defiance, the Deviljho let out another loud roar. He then stomped the ground and the ground erupted with even more pillars of Dragon element flames. Then, he tackled Kong with all of his strength.

However, this wasn't enough to bring the powerful ape down. He bit on the neck of the tyrannosaur, causing heavy damage and bleeding. And to further power it up, Kong sent electricity coursing through his canines, paralyzing the Deviljho.

Now that the Deviljho cannot move, Kong struck his face with strong, lightning-fast punches that were covered in electricity. Each and every punch created a massive shockwave due to the sheer power of the strikes. He kept on going, until Kong finally grabbed the Deviljho's jaws and forcefully pried them open, breaking the demonic maw of the hellish Deviljho. Black blood spilled from his jaws, and the dinosaur is steadily losing blood.

Never before had the Deviljho felt this much pain in his entire life. With his main weapon rendered useless and his tail ripped apart, the Deviljho was now just a sitting duck. But somehow, the fearsome Brute Wyvern still managed to live and survive that.

He tackled Kong one last time, but his simian opponent didn't even budge. Wanting to finish this once and for all, The King of Skull Island grabbed the Great Devourer and flipped him around so that his head would be facing the ground. Then the primate looked up and stared at the storm clouds.

Bending his knees and charging them up with electricity, Kong sprang upwards with so much force that his jump caused a massive earthquake that shook the entire island.

Up and up did the two soar. Within two seconds, the duo have reached above the Troposphere, the Thermosphere, Mesosphere and all the way into the Exosphere. The stars were brilliant and bright, Kong thought. For a few seconds, he even admired the sheer brilliance of the vast heavens above.

But then he hugged the Deviljho with an even tighter grip and covered his entire body in vast amounts of electrical energy, as he prepared for an extremely powerful pile driver. They fell and entered the atmosphere again, and the two become electrified meteors, as they fell from the heavens to the earth. Like the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs, the entire sky flashed with a radiant gleam, almost apocalyptic in nature.

It was at this moment that the Deviljho knew true fear. Yet all he could was await the inevitable.

The instant they landed on Skull Island, the entire island was cracked in two, and the sea became rough and violent as the waves becoming entire tsunamis. The mountains exploded and the volcanoes erupted, sending the island into a state of chaos.

And the entire island flashed for a just a few milliseconds. And within those same milliseconds, an all-encompassing burst of electricity and fire literally blasted the entire island into oblivion, disintegrating everything in its path.

Doomsday Aura Blast by ApexUtopia

And in the center of it all was a king who destroyed his own home. Kong was no longer a king of anything. He looked around in sorrow, and all he could see was destruction and chaos. All the wild animals were instantly turned into ash, and some others who survived the explosion were drowning in the deep depths of the ocean.

But Kong glanced down at his devilish opponent, who was reduced to nothing more than ashes due to the intense electricity, and those same ashes flew by the winds. But because of how intense the battle was, the great ape slowly slipped into unconsciousness, and was left to sink with the island as well.

Kong was without a kingdom now, but he still proved to the Deviljho that he is the true King.

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: Well... That escalated pretty quickly. Who would have thought that island-shattering, asteroid-styled pile drivers are a thing?

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: That. Was. EPIC!!! Holy hell, now that's how you do a finisher! I loved that one!

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: So this fight... Was actually somewhat close. But not close enough, sadly.

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: I guess it's time to look at their stats then! First of all is strength! While both monsters were amazing in their own right, the winner here has to be King Kong.

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: That's because a electricity-powered Kong can not only match Showa Godzilla in a physical confrontation, but he can even lift and toss him. And Showa Godzilla weighs around 20,000 tons. Keep in mind that Kong usually grapples and wrestles his opponents around, so for him Lifting strength is pretty important! His striking strength isn't that bad either, I mean he can knock out Godzilla with an electricity-powered punch.

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: Meaning Kong can pretty much out-muscle the demonic T. rex, who at best can destroy huge rock structures, tangle with the likes of Rajang and Hellblade Glavenus, and toss massive boulders! As for durability... Kong takes it too.

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: Through power-scaling, the Deviljho can tank hits from a Rajang, who in turn can kill a Kirin. And the Kirin is capable of generating enough power equal to 1,000 lightning bolts, which would put it's power output near 1.1950 Kilotons. That can destroy a small town at most. However, the Starving Deviljho has been implied to be equal or even superior to the Hellblade Glavenus, who can easily turn entire mountains into ashes.

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: But also through power-scaling, Kong is just as tough, if not tougher. Manda is just an unimportant side character in the Showa era, and yet he still survived a full on 926 megaton blast. That's near Small island level! MUCH higher than even the power of a Kirin, and slightly better than the power of a Hellblade Glavenus.

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: Ignoring that presumption, and Kong is still more durable. Fighting off Showa Godzilla is no easy feat, seeing as Showa Godzilla is strong enough to defeat King Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla; the former being a planetary threat. Meaning King Kong is around Country level at his highest. Compared to Deviljho's Mountain level at max well... I guess you get the point by now.

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: Now speed is tricky. Since Deviljho can definitely react to lightning-based attacks from Rajang and Kirin, so must be faster than Kong right?

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: Since that assumption also relies on powerscaling, we'll be enabling powerscaling on Kong's end too. It's only fair. Anyways, Kong can also defeat Gorosaurus, who originally appeared in one of Toho Kong's movies. And him, together with Godzilla, reached the exosphere in two seconds. The Exosphere begins at least 500 km, so to scale that distance in two seconds gives us Mach 728.

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: Still not enough? Well try to remember that Showa Godzilla can keep up with Showa King Ghidorah. And Showa King Ghidorah has feats that put him around... Oh I dunno, 245.15c!?

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: This means King Ghidorah is roughly around 200 times the speed of light. Leagues impressive than anything in the Monster Hunter Verse has ever shown, which has around relativistic speeds to about 2 to 10 times the speed of light. Of course this is all scaling, but powerscaling can be used to figure out how powerful a being is, aside from feats and in-story valid statements.

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: But you must be asking "Why is it a somewhat close match then?" Well to this I say welcome to the durability reducing saliva of the Deviljho! While he would certainly be overwhelmed by Kong at first, the devil dinosaur can use his slimy saliva to lower his opponent's defense. Well... At least to some degree. Take it, Eden!

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: Even if it did lower his defense, we can't say that the saliva can reduce the durability of let's say, Superman, to just mere wall level durability. There's no proof that Deviljho's saliva can decrease someone with much higher durability down to his own level, hence the argument of his saliva bringing down Kong's durability to Small Town level or Mountain level is a big "no-limits fallacy". I haven't seen a White Fatalis get beaten down by the saliva of a Deviljho, and the White Fatalis is around Planet level. Definitely an NFL.

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: While the saliva did lower his defense somewhat, and his Dragon Breath certainly lowered the power of his electric attacks... But eventually Kong would notice this and use his superior intellect and creative mind to defeat Deviljho and avoid both the spit and the breath.

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: Kong also had lots of experience with theropod creatures. T. rexes, V. rexes, Allosaurus... But at the same time, Deviljho has also fought the Rajang, who is a primate like Kong.

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: Both use electricity, but only one of those apes had enough lightning power to defeat Showa Godzilla, and that's Kong.

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: Lastly, the Dragon element is also something that could greatly affect Kong. Since Kong is technically a monster, the Dragon element would damage him considerably. But considering that Kong can tank even the Atomic Breath... Well this means that Dragon element attacks coming from a Deviljho would definitely be tanked by the mighty King Kong.

DB Host - Apex Face by ApexUtopia: Looks like Kong is still the King!

DB Host - Eden Face by ApexUtopia: The winner is King Kong.

Epilogue

"Wow, I can't believe we're actually riding an Elder Dragon. A Ceadeus in fact!" Garmond exclaimed, patting the giant sea dragon on its back. He then looked back at the island solemnly. "But damn, I pity all these islanders... Their own 'god' destroyed their home..." Agatha couldn't help but agree. She gripped the Pokeball that held the legendary King Kong in left hand.

"Well... At least we stand a chance now against that damn white dragon..." Just as soon as she said that, a giant portal materialized from above them, shocking the Hunters and the tribe people.

"Oh... Is that the 'pathway' you mentioned before?" Garmond asked, squinting to getting a better look at the portal. "Because I didn't think it would be that huge..."

Agatha could only stare in disbelief at whatever was going to appear out of the portal. She picked up her crossbow and readied to fight, just in case. Garmond did the same, and readied his axe-sword.

"I guess we gotta do this..." Agatha said in annoyance, as she aimed her trusty crossbow at the portal.
Episode 4 - Monster Hunter VS King Kong! When two mighty beasts from ages unwritten and undocumented by humans meet, there's only one victor! Will Deviljho devour the King of Skull Island or will King Kong prove to the Great Devourer who is the true king of primal beasts?

Welp, here's the fight. I watched some monster movies for inspiration. King Kong 2005 was really hype you know? For this fight, I actually like how it turned out, but I personally prefer Lucina VS Ricky. I dunno why haha but yeah. I really hope you all enjoyed this!

Deviljho should have smacked. Kong only matched a weaker city level. Whereas deviljho can scale to monsters that can split a storm calculated at over 3 teratons. Kong is only 20 megatons. Also, Deviljho is faster via scaling to kirin who is lighting speed.
